My name is Bram, and I created bestdailyfantasysites.com for one purpose and one purpose only. Can you guess it? So have a look around, and when you’re ready, head on over here to get started: Where to Play
Like many of you, I am a huge sports fan and a believer in the axiom that any game can become downright riveting when there’s a little money on the line. I started playing fantasy sports in college, way back in the heyday of Frank Thomas, skinny Barry Bonds, and Juan “Gone” Gonzalez. I became instantly hooked, and from fantasy baseball, I soon moved on to fantasy football and fantasy basketball. More recently, I discovered daily fantasy sports, adding a fresh fix to my fantasy addiction!
Daily fantasy sports is a lot like the regular fantasy game you’ve probably been playing for years. You sign up for a league and draft a team and compete against other people in the league. The main difference is in that little word, “daily.” Instead of being stuck with the same team for a whole season, you only keep the team you picked for one day, because the league only runs for one day (or in some cases, a few days or a week).
The next day, you can join a whole different league and draft a whole different team. You can join as many leagues as you want, and there are always a variety of buy-ins and game types to choose from. At the moment, salary cap contests are the most popular game type — you try to put together the best possible team without exceeding a certain set salary cap. Other types of games include head-to-heads, fifty-fiftys, and pick’ems.
